The Universal Split feature lets you split every single asset, like video, audio, characters, animation, text, etc., used in a video.

To use the Universal Split feature,

Step 1: Select the asset (character, properties or texts) from the Scene Timeline that you want to split.

Step 2: Drag the play head to the exact duration where you want to split it.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Universal Split’ icon over the playhead, and your asset is split into two parts with just a click.

If you want to split the video or audio track, repeat the same steps from the ‘Overall Timeline.’

Universal Split comes in handy when you’re uploading short video clips to Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok.
